TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
